Sarah Orman

(she/her)

Exercise Physiologist, Studio Manager + Group instructor

Sarah is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Women’s Health Practitioner. Within Sarah’s career she has worked within high level sports, musculoskeletal and educational roles. In 2018, Sarah experienced her first major step in her own women’s health journey after being diagnosed with endometriosis. This led her to discovering a passion in women’s health, specifically to meet a need that was not offered at the time that she needed it most.

Sarah utilises evidence-based research to aid behaviour and lifestyle management of conditions traditionally not managed under conservative care. She has a keen interest in supporting all people at any life stage, and looking at someone as a “whole person”.

In her hopes to create a supportive environment around physical activity and body image, Sarah is currently the only recognised Butterfly Foundation Exercise Physiologist (in treating eating disorders) in South Australia. Sarah works in all spaces, whether you are managing compulsive movement, are an athlete with RED-S or experiencing movement avoidance. She is passionate about leading with trauma-informed care, and proactively works with a diverse care team in supporting your goals.

Alongside her clinic consultations, you’ll also find Sarah teaching in The Studio, Gym and buzzing around on manager duties (often with a coffee in hand).

In her spare time, Sarah will regularly be attending a pilates class or climbing a wall (bouldering – it’s a sport). Sarah’s downtime includes reading a good book alongside her cat ‘Sal’, whilst holding a cup of tea in a ceramic cup she likely made herself.
